Little Smiles Portraits is coming to Horizons!

If your child only attends one of these days, don’t worry, there’s flexibility to make sure everyone is photographed.

Children who don’t usually attend on these days are also welcome to come in for their portraits.

There’s no need to pre-register or order before Photo Day.

Once the photos are ready, you’ll receive a link to view your child’s gallery and order only the images you love.

What is my approach?

Fine Art Portraits are a modern and natural approach to children’s photography.

Rather than using props or forced smiles, I photograph each child against a simple backdrop, focusing on their unique expressions and personality.

The result is a collection of portraits that truly capture who they are in this moment of childhood, honest, sweet, and full of life.

What to expect on Photo Day

Educators will bring small groups of children to the photo area throughout the day.

I spend time with each child to capture a variety of natural expressions and genuine moments, from big smiles to quiet curiosity.

The sessions are gentle, relaxed, and child-led, allowing little ones to feel comfortable and at ease.

Educators stay close by for support, and siblings at the centre can be photographed together if requested.

What Should My Child Wear?

Simple outfits work best.

Soft, solid colours help keep the focus on your child’s natural expression.

Try to skip bright neons or big logos, and choose something comfy they love to wear

Let them help pick their outfit if they’re old enough — it often helps them feel more confident and relaxed.

How Will I View My Child's Photos?

Within around two weeks of photo day, you’ll receive an app notification with a link to your centre’s online gallery.

Each child will have their own private album with multiple portraits in both colour and black & white.

How Does Ordering Work?

All ordering is done easily online.

You’ll be able to view your child’s portraits and choose your favourites.

Prints, digital files, and other products are available à la carte, so you only purchase what you truly love.

There is no pre-ordering before you see the photos!

The gallery will remain open for 14 days, so please make sure to place your order before the deadline.

When Will I Receive My Portraits

Digital files are delivered instantly to your email as soon as your order is complete.

Print orders are delivered directly to the centre within about three weeks of the gallery closing and will be sent home with your child.

If you prefer, you can also choose to have your prints shipped directly to your home for a small additional postage fee.

How much does it cost?

Even though the fine art school portrait experience is high end, my prices are not! There is no payment due up front, and families choose exactly what they want to purchase after seeing the images, not before.

All prints and products are made through a professional photography lab, ensuring beautiful colour accuracy and lasting quality. I offer a variety of different packages and a-la-carte products to fit everyone's needs.
